NEW TESTAMENT WORKBOOK
This New Testament workbook is used in the teachings that are taught for a year in “A Firm Foundation Bible School.” This is a sample of what is taught in the class: The New Testament Books is composed of 27 Books written by nine different authors and each of the Gospels receives its name from the human author who wrote it. The first four books of the New Testament, which are the Gospels, record the birth, life, ministry, teachings, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. All we know about the earthly life of Jesus is to be found in the four Gospels. The New Testament is the fulfillment of events that were long awaited for in the Old Testament. There is a significant parallel between the four Gospels and the “four living creatures” of Ezekiel. Ezekiel 1:10 says, “As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.” The lion speaks of strength and kingship – the man, highest intelligence – the ox of lowly service – the eagle speaks of heavenliness, Divinity.
